About Matthew

Matthew Del Mei joined Mills & Mills LLP in 2021 as a LegalShield Associate. Before coming to the firm, he worked at a small general practice firm in Oakville, handling criminal defence, civil litigation, small claims court, residential real estate, family law, wills and estates and general corporate matters. He also sat on the Criminal Law Legal Aid Panel, occasionally acting as duty counsel before the Ontario Court of Justice. Matthew holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2018. He belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
