About Matthew
Matthew Bota is a Partner at Harrison Pensa LLP advising clients on tax, corporate, trust, and estate planning matters. Bota's practice includes estate planning design, trustee counselling, incorporating not-for-profit organizations, assisting charities with governance, corporate reorganizations including estate freezes, and representing clients in tax disputes. Bota joined the firm as an associate in 2017 and became a partner in January 2022. Bota received the Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt Award in Tax and the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize for academic excellence, and belongs to the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Middlesex Law Association.
