About Mathieu

Mathieu was born and raised in St. Boniface and settled in Steinbach after law school to join Smith Neufeld Jodoin. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba (2009) and a law degree from the University of North Dakota (2013), and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2016. His practice covers civil litigation, wills and estates, corporate and commercial matters, real estate and employment law. Mathieu has served as a Bencher with the Law Society of Manitoba since 2022 and sits on several community boards, including Sara Riel Inc. and the Residential Tenancies Commission as Deputy Commissioner.
