About Mathais
Mathais Sarrazin founded Freedom Family Law after graduating from UVic Law in 2012 and being called to the BC bar in 2013. Early in his career he gained extensive courtroom experience in criminal defence and family law, running Supreme Court trials just months after being called to the bar. Concluding that much of the suffering he saw in family law disputes was preventable, he built Freedom Family Law around drafting family agreements, such as prenuptial, cohabitation, postnuptial, common-law, and separation agreements, plus document preparation for uncontested divorces, rather than litigation.
