About Mark

Mark Feigenbaum is the founder of Feigenbaum Consulting, a cross-border tax and law practice that became part of KPMG in Canada in 2023. He is licensed as both a lawyer and an accountant in Canada and the United States, with particular expertise in the taxation issues facing the sports and entertainment industry. His litigation experience spans senior courts in both countries: in Canada he has gone before provincial courts, the Tax Court, and the Federal Court system, while in the U.S. he has appeared before the Tax Court, several district courts, and multiple appellate courts, and has even filed a writ of certiorari with the Supreme Court. Beyond taxation, his practice touches family law matters involving financial issues, cross-border estate planning and wills, and corporate work including cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He holds a law degree, a master of laws in entertainment and media law, and a doctorate focused on international taxation and financial services, and continues to teach part time at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
