About Mariah

Mariah Friedrich received her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law in 2024. She joined Guild Yule LLP in 2023 as a summer articled student and completed her articles in 2025. Before law school, she held a Bachelor of Arts (Combined Honours) in English and Contemporary Studies from the University of King's College, Halifax, and worked as a studio manager at a yoga studio. During law school she volunteered as an assistant editor at the UBC Law Review, worked as a research assistant on intellectual property, tort, and criminal law projects, and was a student clinician at the UBC Criminal Law Clinic and the UBC Innocence Project.
