About Marco

Marco Abruzzi is the principal of Accordance Dispute Resolution LLP, where he focuses on mediating and arbitrating business, estate, family, shareholder, and workplace disputes. Before moving to Victoria in 2022 to found the firm, he practiced as a lawyer, mediator, and arbitrator for a boutique downtown law firm in Vancouver. Earlier in his career he worked as Crown Counsel with the federal Department of Justice, in its Business and Regulatory Section as well as with Aboriginal Affairs and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans on matters involving dams and run-of-river projects. He also spent ten years practicing as a business, corporate, workplace, and family litigation lawyer, and has owned a number of businesses over the years. Abruzzi has led mediations and arbitrations covering shareholder agreement disputes, contractual disputes, family asset division, spousal support, and business partner disputes.
