About Marc-Antoine

Marc-Antoine Deschamps has practiced in taxation and commercial law since 1998. He has advised clients on tax and corporate planning for business acquisitions and sales, intergenerational transfers, and personal and corporate tax incentives, as well as estate planning in Canada and abroad. He has negotiated with tax authorities, including in voluntary disclosure matters, and has represented taxpayers before the Tax Court of Canada and the Court of Québec. His clients are mainly small and medium-sized businesses, institutions, and foreign companies doing business in Canada. He was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1998, holds a law degree from Université Laval, and earned a graduate diploma in taxation (D.E.S.S.) from HEC Montréal in 2000.
