About Stefania

Stefania Chianetta focuses her practice exclusively on Quebec condominium law, where she also works as a mediator and arbitrator. She graduated from the Université de Montréal's law faculty in 1997 and was called to the Quebec Bar in 1998. She was senior legal counsel to the Association des syndicats de copropriété du Québec from 2004 to 2006, then headed a condominium-law department at an Old Montreal firm from 2006 before founding her own firm at the end of 2007. She advises and represents condominium syndicates and individual co-owners in disputes over their respective rights and obligations. She sits on the board of the Fédération des copropriétaires du Québec and is a professional member of the Regroupement des gestionnaires et des copropriétaires du Québec and of Condo Conseils, where she volunteers as legal counsel and columnist. She has written and spoken extensively on condominium law topics for publications such as Copropriété Plus and at Barreau du Québec continuing education events, and practises in French and Italian.
