About Marc-Alexandre

Marc-Alexandre Girard practices in labour law, municipal law, and access to information. Girard advises clients on the application of provincial and federal labour legislation and regularly appears in dismissal and grievance arbitration matters. Girard also assists with the day-to-day management of labour relations and participates in collective bargaining negotiations. Girard represents businesses and municipalities in matters relating to municipal legislation, and has frequently handled access to information cases involving public bodies. Girard's practice has included appearances before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Quebec Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Superior Court, and several administrative and labour tribunals. Girard was called to the Quebec Bar in 2005 and holds an LL.B. from Université de Montréal.
