About Manal

Manal Hamoud has been a member of the Quebec Bar since September 2021 and has more than six years of experience in immigration and business law, gained at leading Montreal firms before founding HMD Avocats in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Montréal along with minors in criminology and in psychology and sociology. Hamoud practices Canadian and Quebec immigration law and business law, with particular focus on start-ups and helping employers recruit foreign workers. She built HMD around online legal services to remove the geographic and scheduling barriers she saw limit access to timely legal advice.
