About Maia

Maia Voicu has practised as a lawyer since 2023 and concentrates mainly on civil and commercial litigation at Donati Maisonneuve. Before joining the firm she worked in tax planning at a financial consulting firm and as legal counsel for a financial-sector self-regulatory organization in insurance. She holds a law degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal and is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor in North American common law at the Université de Montréal, giving her a comparative perspective on civil law and common law issues. She sits on the Barreau du Québec's professional training committee, takes part in the Jeune Barreau de Montréal's research and legislation committee, and serves clients in French, English and Romanian.
