About Mae

Mae Chow is a partner at Duncan Craig LLP with over 35 years of experience in real estate, business, estate planning and estate administration, based between the firm's Edmonton office and Drayton Valley, where she has lived and practised for most of her career. She advises business owners on incorporations, sales of businesses, corporate reorganization and succession, and financing, and handles farm and rural residential real estate matters and grazing leases, as well as wills, powers of attorney and personal directives. She holds an LL.B. (1989) and a B.Sc. with First Class Honours (1986), both from the University of Alberta, and received the King's Counsel appointment in 2024. She has volunteered extensively with the Legal Education Society of Alberta and committees of the Law Society of Alberta.
