About Luc

Luc Chamberland was Bâtonnier of Québec in 2004-2005 and received the Avocat émérite (Ad.E.) distinction in 2008, joining BMA Avocats in 2024. He developed expertise in public, administrative, constitutional and labour law, spending much of his career directing the litigation branch of the Québec Ministry of Justice from 2004 to 2015. He has taught pleading technique and public law at Université Laval and the École du Barreau, and has authored several doctrinal works including the Manuel de plaidoirie and co-authored Le Grand Collectif on the Code of Civil Procedure.
