About Annie

Annie Quimper has practised family law since being admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1999. Annie Quimper favors a human, solution-focused approach built on consultation, negotiation, family mediation and collaborative law rather than litigation, helping clients preserve relationships and reach durable agreements on separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, child support, property division and youth-protection (DPJ) matters. Annie Quimper co-founded the firm Poitras Quimper Avocates with Isabelle Poitras in 2006, and has practised independently from a Quebec City office since 2017, also serving clients across the province through technology. Annie Quimper holds a certificate in psychology and is involved with committees of the Barreau, the Association des familialistes de Québec, the Association des médiateurs familiaux du Québec, and the Groupe de droit collaboratif du Québec. Annie Quimper also provides training, supervision and mentoring for mediators and lawyers.
