About Luc

Luc Boucher was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1989 and has practised criminal law for more than 30 years. He spent a long career as a Crown prosecutor before joining CSG Avocats to focus on defence work. His practice covers offences under the Criminal Code, the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Competition Act, with particular experience in cases involving search warrants and wiretap authorizations. He has handled matters including murder, attempted murder, drug trafficking, money laundering, organized crime, sexual assault, impaired driving causing death, and economic crime, and has also worked on terrorism and war-crimes prosecutions, including an early Canadian prosecution connected to the Rwandan genocide.
