About Lindsey

Lindsey practises exclusively in family law and has experience at all levels of court in British Columbia, including acting as co-counsel in seeking leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. She has represented clients on a range of family law issues including division of family property and family debt in high net-worth cases, upholding or setting aside cohabitation, marriage, and separation agreements, child and spousal support, parenting arrangements involving allegations of family violence and substance abuse, and relocations. She also negotiates, mediates, and arbitrates resolutions to complex family law disputes. Lindsey obtained her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2012 and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2013. She worked at a boutique family law firm in downtown Vancouver before opening her own practice in 2020 and founding Cruickshank & Company in April 2021. She is a member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association and has contributed extensively to CLEBC.
