About Linda

Linda Mark has been the principal lawyer of Mark & Company Law Corp since its founding in 1990. She has practised immigration law for over 30 years, assisting clients worldwide, and is a member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia. In 1974 she earned a diploma in Creative Communications (Journalism and Commercial Writing) from Red River Community College in Manitoba, and in 1987 she obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba. She also studied at the University of Winnipeg and the University of Victoria. She was called to the Bar by the Law Society of British Columbia and has practised law continuously since 1988. Before becoming a lawyer, she worked for ten years in advertising, communications, promotion, and management, and afterward worked in the tax department of Arthur Andersen in Vancouver. She also practised family law and criminal law before focusing exclusively on immigration law. Linda Mark has contributed to seminars, clinics, and media programs, and acted as principal technical consultant for the book "How to Move to Canada" by Terese Loeb Kreuzer. She has been consulted on immigration matters by various publications, including the New York Times.
