About Leslie

Leslie E. Maerov is an independent commercial arbitrator based in Vancouver. He is a barrister and solicitor in British Columbia and a solicitor of England and Wales, and a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. After practicing at a boutique Vancouver law firm, he became CEO of a public telecom company, overseeing mergers and acquisitions and the construction of a fibre optic network in Vancouver and Victoria. He has served as an arbitrator since 2011, handling commercial disputes as both sole arbitrator and panel member in Canadian, U.S., and international matters. Maerov is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Qualified Arbitrator of the ADR Institute of Canada, and serves as Director and Treasurer of the Western Canada Commercial Arbitration Society. He is on the rosters of ADRBC, the ICC Canada Arbitration Committee, VanIAC, ICDR Canada, FINRA, and NFA, and is the immediate past chair of VanIAC.
