About Les

Les Bunning graduated from Ottawa University Law School in 1979 and was called to the Bar in 1981, after an earlier career as a technical officer at the University of Ottawa. He opened Bunning & Farnand in Blackburn Hamlet in 1982 and was joined by Greg Farnand in 1984. He has taught the real estate portion of the Bar Admission Course and conducts seminars on real estate and wills. Outside the office, Les is a chess expert who has served as President of the Chess Federation of Canada and wrote a chess column for the Ottawa Citizen in the 1980s.
