About Leisha

Leisha co-founded Connect Family Law in 2015 alongside Simon Kent. After being a family lawyer for more than 13 years, combined with her own experience of divorce, she understands the difficult transition that follows the end of a relationship, and she focuses her practice on reaching out-of-court settlements through collaborative divorce or mediation rather than litigation. She advises on all areas of family law, including child support, spousal support and parenting, and specializes in the division of businesses and trusts, including their tax implications, along with marriage and cohabitation agreements dealing with business, property, and family trusts. She is a certified family law mediator and practises through a law corporation.
