About Laura
Laura Wolfe is Counsel whose practice centers on mergers and acquisitions and corporate and commercial law. She has considerable experience acting for buy-side private equity investors on acquisitions and advising their portfolio companies on commercial matters, across sectors including renewable energy, fintech, biotech, consumer packaged goods, building products, and manufacturing. She also advises investors in their roles as shareholders and directors, supports activist campaigns, and represents clients in shareholder disputes. Laura co-authors the Directors' Briefing, a LexisNexis quarterly publication on board governance and corporate risk. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021 and holds a JD from the University of Saskatchewan, an MPP from the University of Toronto's Munk School, and a BA in political science from the University of British Columbia.
