About Laura
Laura Emmett, based in the London office, practises in auto insurance, premises liability, and cyber and privacy law, appearing in the courtroom, in arbitrations, and in negotiations. Laura co-authored a bestselling legal publication on accident benefits and speaks frequently at national and international conferences. As a certified risk manager, Laura advises clients on minimizing liability exposure from cyber threats and privacy breaches. Laura serves as a Bencher of the Law Society of Ontario and holds leadership roles with defence counsel organizations and industry associations, and was President of the Ontario Bar Association's Southwest Young Lawyers Division from 2016 to 2017.
