About Lara

Lara Levesque is a partner at DDC Lawyers whose practice spans insurance defence claims and a range of employment matters, including wrongful dismissal and human rights complaints. Originally from Ottawa, she earned a B.Sc. with distinction in biological sciences from the University of Alberta in 1999, then graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 2004 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2005. She joined the firm in 2011. Lara has represented clients before administrative tribunals, statutory appeal panels, the Court of Justice, and the Court of King's Bench, and has served as Inquiry Counsel and as counsel for interested parties in public fatality inquiries.
