About Kyle
Kyle Thom is an associate lawyer at MFC Lawyers who grew up in Goderich and now lives in Burlington. He completed a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2021 and earned his Juris Doctor from Queen's University in 2024. At Laurier he competed with the moot court program and was runner-up and distinguished oralist at the 2021 University of Toronto Cup. During law school he worked with Professor Nicholas Bala on a study of the reform of Ontario relocation law, examining amendments to the Divorce Act and Children's Law Reform Act, with findings presented at the 2023 Family Law Summit. Before joining MFC he worked as a summer law student at a firm in Goderich. He joined MFC as an articling student in July 2024 and was called to the bar in 2025.
