About Kyla
Kyla Russell has over 20 years of experience in insurance law. A 2001 graduate of Dalhousie Law School, she spent more than 15 years working as a legal analyst, developing a strong foundation in the issues clients face when pursuing insurance claims and honing her research and advocacy skills. In 2017 she transitioned to the full practice of law and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar. She approaches client matters from both a critical and a practical perspective. Russell has written on insurance law topics for Atlantic Insurance Broker magazine, including liability and causation, bad faith, and cyber risk. She holds a B.A. (Combined Honours in German and History) from the University of King's College.
