About Kurt

Kurt Schlachter, KC, based in Lethbridge, was appointed Stringam's first Chief Executive Officer in January 2023 after stepping away from practice, having previously served as a partner since 2010 and Regional Managing Partner for Lethbridge from 2016. He earned a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of Lethbridge in 2000 and his J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003, gaining broad experience across family, civil litigation, personal injury, employment, real estate, wills and estates, corporate, and criminal law before moving into firm leadership. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2022 and holds the ICD.D governance designation.
