About Kobi
Kobi Bessin is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Group and sits on the firm's Management Committee. His practice covers mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity, and cross-border transactions, and he represents entrepreneurs, owner-managers, developers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, along with private equity firms, merchant banks, venture capital firms, and companies in health care and consumer services. He guides clients through acquisitions and dispositions, debt and equity financings, venture capital investments, and corporate governance and reorganization matters. Kobi holds an LLM in Tax from Osgoode Hall Law School, a JD from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. He's admitted to the Washington, D.C. bar, the Ontario bar, and the New York bar, and was named one of Lexpert's Rising Stars in 2020.
