About Kirsty

Kirsty Niglas-Collins co-founded Collins & Metcalfe LLP and litigates before professional regulatory colleges, labour arbitrations, and human rights tribunals. She advises unions and their members on the full scope of the collective bargaining relationship and on professional regulation issues, and has appeared before the Ontario Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Kirsty started her career as the first articling student at a large Ontario union before building her own practice. She earned her J.D. from the University of Toronto and an M.A. from the University of St. Andrews, and belongs to the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and the Ontario Bar Association's Labour and Employment Group.
