Kirk R. Laird

About Kirk

Kirk Laird grew up on a grain farm outside Kelsey, Alberta and studied math and physics with a minor in history at Augustana University, where he played hockey for four years, before studying law at the University of Alberta. He was called to the bar in 2014 and practises family law, real estate, wills and estates, civil litigation, adoption, and guardianship and trusteeship matters. He's trained as both a mediator and a Collaborative family law practitioner, and focuses on the best interests of children and positive co-parenting relationships in his family law work.
