Verlyn D. Olson, K.C., is the founder of Olson Rau + Mohr, formerly known as OlsonLaw. He practised in Camrose for over thirty years, including time at branch offices in Daysland, Forestburg, Killam, Sedgewick, and Hardisty. He entered politics in 2008 and served as MLA for Wetaskiwin-Camrose until 2015, acting as Minister of Justice and Attorney General in 2011-2012 and then as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. After seven years in politics he returned to law in 2015 and founded the firm to focus on helping families transition their farms and small businesses to the next generation. Verlyn and his wife Mardell live near Armena, and he has served on several community boards including Bethany, Camrose Lutheran College Corporation, and Diabetes Canada.
