About Kayley

Kayley Boutcher grew up in Langley, BC, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2020 before attending law school at Thompson Rivers University, graduating in 2023. She made the dean's list and won course prizes in employment law and clinical practice, and spent a semester with the TRU Community Legal Clinic assisting low-income and marginalized Kamloops residents. Kayley first joined Morelli Chertkow as a summer student in 2022 and completed her articles with the firm in 2024. She has served as vice president of the First Generation Network's TRU chapter and currently serves as treasurer of the Kamloops and District Elizabeth Fry Society.
