About Brent
Brent D. Cage practices primarily corporate and commercial law, advising clients on business transactions including the purchase and sale of businesses and corporate reorganizations. He grew up in Beaverlodge and has long-established roots in the west county communities. Before joining CLHLaw he practiced law in Calgary for over ten years in securities and corporate finance, articling with a national firm before working as an associate at a securities boutique and later as a partner at a full-service business law firm. He has advised both publicly listed and small to mid-sized companies on private placements, initial public offerings, securities regulation and corporate governance. He holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2003.
