Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionKathryn Kirkpatrick is counsel in the Construction and Infrastructure and Insurance Practice Groups at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP. She has extensive experience representing large institutional, private, and municipal clients in a wide range of civil proceedings, including disputes over multi-party construction projects, negligent roadway design and maintenance, municipal housing, defamation, and occupiers' liability. Her clients have also included architects, engineers, brokers, police officers, nursing homes, and Children's Aid Societies in professional negligence matters. Kathryn has provided written and oral advocacy at all levels of court, including trials, appeals, and contested motions, and she also represents clients in mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002 after earning her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, and she later completed a Certificate in Negotiation at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2018.
