About Kathleen

Kathleen Klein is a partner at Valin Partners LLP with a general practice spanning civil litigation, real estate, corporate and commercial matters, employment law, wills, powers of attorney, estate administration and litigation, and family law. She was raised in North Bay, attended McGill University in Montreal, and completed her law degree at Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia, graduating with First-Class Honours. Before law school she worked and studied in French-speaking Switzerland, taught in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and worked for Nipissing's Member of Provincial Parliament and later its Member of Parliament. She now serves as president of the Nipissing Law Association and sits on the board of the Family Enrichment Program.
