Katherine Lam was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019 after working at Hum Law Firm in Toronto, where she handled employment law and civil litigation matters. She has practiced as a solicitor in Hong Kong since 1999 with experience in civil litigation, family law, real estate, and estate administration, and remains a consultant at Simon Si & Co in Hong Kong. She holds an LLM from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Hong Kong.
