Lam Law Firm Professional Corporation is a sole-practitioner firm in Richmond Hill, Ontario, run by lawyer Katherine Lam. Lam was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 and holds a Global Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, earned in 2018. Before that, Lam spent close to two decades as a solicitor in Hong Kong, admitted there in 1999, working on civil litigation, banking disputes, employees' compensation claims, and personal injury matters. Lam still holds a current Hong Kong solicitor's practising certificate and remains a consultant at Simon Si & Co, a Hong Kong firm.

The Richmond Hill practice covers wills and estate administration, real estate, family law, civil litigation, and notary and commissioning services, including apostille service for notarial and government documents. That dual licensing lets Lam advise directly on estate planning and property matters that cross both jurisdictions instead of routing clients to a separate Hong Kong lawyer. Before opening the practice, Lam spent close to two years at Hum Law Firm, a small Ontario employment law firm, working on employment disputes and human rights matters. The firm operates in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and Lam belongs to the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, the Toronto Lawyers Association, and the York Region Law Association.
