About Katherine

Katherine C. Nunn launched her client-focused rural law practice in Athabasca after a 20-year management career in the public sector. She completed her Juris Doctor with Distinction at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law and was called to the bar in 2020. Her practice covers buying and selling homes, wills, estate administration, and family law matters, and she aims to guide clients through the legal system carefully and cost-effectively. Kate is an active volunteer in the Athabasca community, supporting organizations including the Athabasca Cares Community Housing Society, the AIRSS Refugee Sponsorship Society, and several local youth sports clubs.
