About Justine

Justine Mercer is a collaborative family lawyer and trained mediator with more than 25 years of family law practice, including litigation, who has focused for the past 15 years on collaborative separation and divorce as well as advising couples entering relationships. She practiced at McCarthy Tetrault in Vancouver from 1994 to 2008 before establishing her own collaborative family law practice. She is an active member of Vancouver's collaborative law community, a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, a past president and current board member of the BC Collaborative Roster Society, and a certified family law mediator. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from London University in England and her Bachelor of Laws from UBC, graduating in 1994.
