About Justine

Justine Mageau, Co-Chair of Witten's Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, practices primarily in civil litigation, employment law and Indigenous law, with broad experience ranging from commercial disputes to constitutional matters. She is fluent in French and English and serves clients in both languages, having represented clients at all levels of court in Alberta, the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before numerous tribunals. Justine earned her JD (Silver Medallist) from the University of Ottawa in 2011 and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2012. She has held leadership roles with several not-for-profit and charitable organizations, including as vice-president of the Fédération des parents francophones de l'Alberta, and was named one of Edmonton's Top 40 Under 40 by Edify magazine. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling and learning new sports.
