About Justin
Justin Myers was born and raised in Vancouver and has also lived in Ottawa, Vietnam and Australia. After earning a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, he completed a Juris Doctor at Bond University in Australia, with practicum training at O'Brien Lawyers in Sydney and Stone Group Lawyers on the Gold Coast. He completed his articles in 2013 and practised with his father, Lawrence D. Myers K.C., at Myers & Co. until 2022, when he and his brother Zack Myers started The Myers Law Company. He has appeared in courts across Canada and was lead counsel, with Zack and Lawrence Myers, in R. v. Myers, 2019 SCC 18, a unanimous Supreme Court of Canada decision on bail. His practice covers criminal law along with driving prohibition and residential tenancy matters, and he is an advanced-level Spanish speaker.
