About Julie
Julie Layne is the founder of Layne Family Law and has practiced law since her call to the bar in 2002. She graduated from the University of Toronto Law School, articled at the Federal Court in Ottawa, and began her career as a commercial litigation lawyer before shifting to practice family law exclusively in 2006. In 2013 she obtained a Masters in Family Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and has since trained and certified in Collaborative Family Law. She has served on the Board of the Ontario Bar Association Family Law Section and is a Board Member of the York Region Law Association.
