About Julie
Julie Brown is an associate at Pietrow Law Group, which she joined in 2017 after working at a boutique family law firm in Vancouver. She practices exclusively in family law and has represented clients on child custody, division of property and debt, child support, and spousal support, with experience at all stages of litigation and appearances before all levels of court in British Columbia, including as co-counsel in a precedent-setting property and excluded property decision at the Court of Appeal. She also represents clients at mediations, negotiating settlements and drafting agreements. Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo in 2008 and her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2012, articling at a boutique litigation firm in Vancouver with a focus on family law before being called to the British Columbia bar in 2013.
