About Julianna

Julianna A. Greenspan is a partner at Greenspan Partners LLP, which she joined in 2002 before making partner in 2007. She began her career practising criminal law in Chicago, interning with the Cook County Public Defender's Murder Task Force Division and then working as an associate with Genson and Gillespie, appearing at trial level in Illinois and Indiana courts and before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeal. At Greenspan Partners, she has represented clients at every trial and appellate level in Ontario and before the Supreme Court of Canada, with extensive experience in criminal and extradition matters. Julianna has also appeared before administrative bodies including the College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Parole Board of Canada. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2003, holds a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law (1997), and is admitted to practice in Illinois. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and serves on the boards of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and the Canadian Opera Company.
