About Julia

Julia J. Yu runs her own law practice in Montreal. She trained through articling positions in both Montreal and Beijing and worked at a boutique Montreal firm before opening her own office in 2020. She holds an LL.B and J.D. in North American common law from the University of Montreal, along with an LLM in Law, Technology and Entrepreneurship from Cornell Tech, and is a member of the Barreau du Québec. Her practice centers on cross-border transactions and the intersection of law with new technology and the digital economy.
