About Joshua

Joshua Lam is the managing partner and founder of Sage Legal, which he established in 2017. He grew up in Fort St. James and Fort St. John before settling in Victoria, and worked at a student-run legal clinic in Edmonton during law school. After completing his articles in 2011, he was selected for the Canadian Bar Association's International Internship Program and was posted in Nairobi, Kenya, where he assisted with international criminal justice cases, including matters before the International Criminal Court, and helped implement Kenya's newly promulgated constitution. He has since focused on access-to-justice and poverty law work alongside corporate and commercial law, holds an M.A. and J.D., and is a member of the BC Bar.
