About Jolie
Jolie Chai practises as of counsel at RJA Law, where she supports clients through every stage of the immigration process. She brings experience in refugee protection and immigration law in both Canada and the United States, along with humanitarian work abroad. Before joining RJA Law, she worked with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in legal and protection roles in India, Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey, as well as at the agency's Middle East Bureau, developing expertise in refugee status determination, exclusion, and resettlement procedures. Jolie holds a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia and is licensed to practise law in Alberta and in the State of New York. Born and raised in Edmonton, she speaks German and conversational Mandarin.
