About John

John Hedley has focused on insurance defence since joining Ritch Williams & Richards in 1997 and also works in general litigation and marine law. He can be involved at any stage of a file, from pleadings through coverage, liability and damage assessment, discovery, mediation and trial or appeal, and manages a number of reference materials used by the firm's lawyers and clients. His areas of interest include coverage and duty to defend, and tort liability and damages quantification. John holds a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Saint Mary's University.
