About Joanie

Joanie Lévesque's practice focuses on municipal and administrative law, and includes representing clients before the courts in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation. Lévesque is a graduate of Université Laval, holding a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and an integrated Bachelor of Public Affairs and International Relations. During studies, Lévesque represented Université Laval at the Charles-Rousseau International Law Moot Court Competition and took part in the Quebec National Assembly's legislative page program. Before joining Dunton Rainville in 2024, Lévesque practiced at a boutique class actions firm and at a large firm known for insurance law and professional liability. Lévesque provides service tailored to client representation needs and appears before the Court of Québec, the Superior Court, and the Court of Appeal. Lévesque also serves as an advisor on ethics and professional conduct in municipal matters for the Commission municipale du Québec.
