About Jillian
Jillian Klassen is an associate at Johnston Ming Manning LLP with an interest in litigation and employment law. She grew up in Coronation, Alberta, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction from the University of Calgary's Red Deer Campus before spending six years working in the not-for-profit sector with Boys & Girls Clubs of Red Deer and District. She began her Juris Doctor at the University of Manitoba in 2019, graduating in June 2022 after being placed on the Dean's Honour List in both years and receiving the Pitbaldo Scholarship. During law school she won the G.H. Bowman Tax Moot and served as Vice-President of the Feminist Legal Forum, a student group within the Faculty of Law.
